Tag: contentment

smoke

the sweet smell of olive wood

rising through old chimneys

invokes a smile

a sigh

grateful to be alive

a smoky nexus

that fills me inside

reminding me

of a thousand lives

of sitting by ten thousand fires

enchanted by the embers

relishing the glow

the warmth

its purpose

ageless

eternal

easy
